Good morning friends!! It’s bitter cold here in Texas this morning due to a massive cold front that came rolling in late yesterday afternoon. It almost reminds me of when we lived in Montana, minus the 10 feet of snow we would get around this time of year.
It was beautiful and so much fun, however being snowed in with a newborn for weeks at a time, not so much. I love the cooling temps but if you ask any parent, I think we would all agree that we don’t love what comes with them and that is a lot of sneezing, coughing, runny noses and germs that our little ones can bring home.
I always make sure our medicine cabinet is stocked and has the essentials for this time of year and wanted to share our favorites with you.

Medicine Cabinet Must Haves for Winter
I’ve been using Zarbee’s products since our pediatrician recommended them to me about four years ago. They don’t have any of the bad stuff in their products which is what I love most. Every time I order groceries online at Walmart, I stock up on the soothing dark honey and ivy leaf cough syrup for Ryder and the baby kind for Ryan since he is only one year old.
Ryder will sometimes start coughing and he just can’t seem to stop, no matter how much honey or cough syrup I give him. However the moment I apply this vapor rub on his chest, back and feet, I swear he instantly calms down.
Our favorite brand to use is Maty’s.. It’s a natural and organic brand that offers safe products for our boys, unlike others filled with unnecessary garbage inside.
