So! This is my first capsule and I had no idea what I was doing — thank you so much for the love and messages on Instagram, it means a LOT to me. I thought this capsule would be a swing and a miss, but now I can’t wait to make more, all because of you and your SUPPORT!
My style is simple, casual, comfortable and classy. In my opinion, comfortable can be classy and simple doesn’t have to be boring.
Today, I’m writing this post because ya’ll have loved it so much, and I literally cannot thank you enough.
ABOUT THE CAPSULE:
It’s probably unlike any of the other’s you’ve pinned on Pinterest because there’s no rhyme or reason to it. It doesn’t scream, ‘FALL!’ because there isn’t a lot of color and it doesn’t jump out because it probably looks laid back and simple.
But the truth is, IT IS and I hope you love it!
I hope you find a little inspiration to create outfits you feel comfortable in, whether it’s items you already have in your closet or something you purchase from this capsule. 🙂

GRAPHIC TEE
I’m a sucker for a good graphic top and I found this one at Abercrombie. They always have a really good variety no matter the season and they’re usually pretty reasonably priced.
Sizing details: Naturally oversized fit | I’m wearing a small

NEUTRAL CARDIGAN
A neutral cardigan is a closet staple for anytime of the year but this blazer style from J.Crew really shines in the Fall and Spring. It’s nice enough to wear to the office and great for teachers in cold classrooms. It’s made from a mid to heavy weight fabric and the quality is the reason it’s at a higher price point.
Sizing details: It’s not super oversized but it does have a relaxed fit. I’m wearing an XS and that would be my normal size. If you are petite you could definitely size down one if you want to.

GREY JEANS
I’m pretty picky when it comes to jeans so I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked these. They have a very high waist and the fabric has the perfect amount of stretch which makes them really comfortable.
Sizing details: I’m wearing an XS and they are pretty stretchy. If you are in between sizes I recommend going down instead of up. Even if they are snug at first, I think they will relax throughout the day.

PLAID BLAZER
To sum it up, this blazer is just stunning.
The fit is nice, it’s not too long and it has structure without being stiff. It’s $99 with Free Shipping.
Sizing details: I’m wearing an XS and it fits like a glove. I recommend getting your normal size or going down if you are petite. XS would be my normal size for a blazer.

GRAPHIC SWEATSHIRT
This was a splurge for me.
I just loved the color so much and that’s what drew me in. There is a little bit of distressing and tiny holes that are actually meant to be there. I opened the bag and started to freak out because I saw a tiny hole and thought it arrived damaged. 🙂
Nope. It’s actually supposed to be that way. Lastly, the inside is Terry so it’s not a heavy fleece.
Sizing details: I’m wearing a small and I love the oversized feel. I almost bought an XS but I’m glad I stuck with the small. The XS wouldn’t have been long enough for leggings. Get your normal size or go up one size for extra length and a little more room.

PLAID SHACKET
I found this plaid shacket at H&M and it’s right under $40. The inside is not super soft so I don’t recommend wearing anything but long sleeves underneath. I originally styled it with a short sleeve top in my collages, however once it arrived it was too itchy for that. The quality is good and it’s great for Fall layering.
Sizing details: Shackets are meant to be oversized and this one is just that. Get your normal size or you can easily go down a size. I’m wearing an XS.

BLACK SWEATER
This black sweater is an Amazon find and it’s from their exclusive ‘Daily Ritual’ line. It’s soft and comes in several colors however it’s not a naturally oversized sweater. I went up 2 sizes to get this boyfriend fit so it could be worn with leggings. It’s right under $32.
Sizing details: I’m wearing a LARGE to make it look oversized. Go up one to two sizes if you want this look.

WAFFLE TOP
Walmart makes these tunic tops and I love them. This one is available in 3 other colors, including black. It’s $16 and perfect for leggings. It’s very soft and thin enough to layer under jackets without feeling bulky.
Sizing details: Get your normal size or go down if you’re in between sizes. I’m wearing an XS.

UTILITY JACKET | SLIM STRAIGHT JEANS
I really love the color of this utility jacket because it’s a different, lighter green than you typically see in this style.
Sizing details: I’m wearing an XS because I like my jackets to be a little more fitted. Get your normal size or go up to wear with heavy sweaters.

BLACK LEGGINGS | DENIM JACKET
This is a Free People denim jacket and I’m absolutely in love with it. You have to cut the pockets open and the hood is not detachable. It’s a higher price point but I just really loved the oversized fit, the grey hoodie and the light wash.
Sizing details: The XS was out of stock when I bought it so I got a small instead. I was afraid it would be way too big but I’m actually really happy with the fit. Get your normal size or however you prefer you jackets to fit.

Aerie always has the best loungewear and I’ve gone through way too many throughout the years. This one has a soft Terry on the inside and perfect for layering with the Amazon tunic tee. (go up one size in the Amazon tunic)
It’s currently on sale and comes in a few other colors. I have the matching lounge shorts and they are so good.
Sizing details: I’m wearing an XS. Get your normal size or go down one. It just depends on how you want it to fit.
SPANX leggings: These run really long! I sized down in lengths to a small short. I’m 5’6″ and if you are shorter than me you absolutely need to size down in length.
