Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post, as always all opinions are my own.
The holiday season is here and I have a fun and festive charcuterie board to share with you!!
I started making a breakfast board for Christmas morning a few years ago and it was such a hit, that it’s become tradition. Each year I do different theme so you can create one of these with any breakfast item you like.
You could use pancakes, French toast, crepes, bagels, donuts or cinnamon rolls like I did. Then, fill in with fresh fruit and if you’re a meat eater, sausage, bacon or ham. The possibilities are endless!
Another thing that’s endless is the Walmart+ membership.

The produce I get is always high quality and the bakery items are fresh. You MUST try these sticky buns. They are delicious!!!
The mini cinnamon rolls are also from the fresh bakery section at Walmart, however I added the vanilla glaze and sprinkles. I thought it would make the board a little more festive and the kids love it.
Easy Vanilla Glaze:
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons butter melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Stir everything together in a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of water until smooth. If needed, thin the glaze with a splash of water.
I’m addicted to these warm ham & Swiss croissants ya’ll!!
Walmart’s bakery makes these butter croissants and they are so good. I also like to put fresh chicken salad inside for a quick lunch.
Hot Ham & Swiss Sandwiches:
- 1 pack of Walmart’s butter croissants from the bakery section
- sliced Swiss cheese
- fresh deli ham, thinly sliced – (whatever is your favorite- I liked smoked ham)
- spicy mustard or dijon mustard – (whichever you prefer)
Cut the croissants in half and spread the mustard on both sides. Next add the ham on top of the mustard and then layer the cheese on top of the ham.
Place in the oven until warm and cheese is melted. ( I use my toaster oven and it saves a lot of time)
After enjoying our morning coffee and opening presents Trey and I pop open a little bubbly for mimosas. I like a traditional orange juice mimosa however if you want to switch it up a bit or give more options to guests, try adding this Italian Sparkling Blood Orange drink. It’s delicious!
For the kids: Pour a little sparkling white grape juice in a champagne flute. The one I have is under $2.
All of my white dishes are from the Better Homes & Gardens line sold exclusively at Walmart. I started buying them a few years ago because a classic white dish goes with everything from Easter to Christmas.
These are a few of my favorites along with other entertaining pieces also from Walmart.
